Has nothing to do with the Refs. We have a bottom 3 number 1 option in the league. Until that changes, we will continue to lose more often than not.

Refs were the #1 option for NY. Total bias. Pels played well. Not sure why they pulled Fears dude was cooking.

The refs were quite good untill the 4th quarter, I thnik FTs were 10:9 and finished 22:13. And that flagrant on Queen was simply unbelievable.
But besides the refs we lost the game because Murray could not score at all (otherwise he was assisting a lot). JB should have simply kept Fears as he was cooking.

I started to get hot with the refs when they didn’t call what I (and Joel!) thought what was an obvious reach at the end of the third. It went downhill from there. I don’t know if the Pels win but it would have been a true one possession game at the end.

I’m tired of Zion going 8/10, 9/12, 7/8, 10/12, etc… for 18-22 points. At that clip, shoot the fricking ball 20 times per game. The percentage would probably go down, but he would still likely shoot 60+% on 18-20 shots and average 25+ efficient points.

That was definitely not the issue today. Zion played 34min (10 in the 3rd and 9 in the 4th). Dejonte played the entire 3rd quarter and given how Fears was playing in the 4th should have not seen the floor at all.

Zion was a +15, playing 34 minutes, in a 5-point loss. So, we got outscored by 20 points in the 14 minutes when he wasn't on the court.
How is he to blame?

Pelicans are giving up 31.7 points in the first quarter over the last 10 games. You can't always play from behind and expect to win. The little lineup might be our best lineup offensively, but defensively it sucks. We might beat the bottom feeders with it, but we'll never beat good teams with it.

Best prospect supposedly since LeBron shouldn't get out closed and classes by a 5ft 9 Brunson that barely made the league.
Anytime we lose, it's Zion's fault. I don't understand why he still gets a leash in year 7. If he was more marketable and decent off the floor, we would get officiated better as a whole. The officiating is not based off market, it's based off your best player. We have one of the worst on and off court best players in the league.

No way, no how is Queen worth two first round draft picks (one being a lottery pick this year). There was a reason why 12 other teams (one being us) passed on him last year.
