You know what really helps with ball movement and turnovers?

Having a point guard. Of which we are missing both our starter and backup

Having more than one guy on the floor who can knock down a three.

would love to know what teams you think that can keep their two best players and lose 3 starters and one of their best bench players would be better.

Still waiting on your answer shel. Which team would have a better record against the teams we've played?

When Shel is saying THIS. We DEF in BIIIIGGG TROUBLE
It's just facts right now.

BI doesn't fit what we want to do.

Zion is literally not actually good at a single thing through 10 games this season. not saying he won't get better, I'm saying in the 10 games he played, he did not do anything well. He played no defense, he's averaging 4 assists per game, and he's very inefficiently scoring. It's not that he's not playing at top 10 level, he's not playing at the level of an average basketball player right now.

You know... There was this one year where both Murray and Porter Jr. Was out and Joker carried them into the playoffs.

Exactly teams have lost guys too during years where they make the playoffs. Were just broken

Lol shel has officially gone off the deep end folks.

That you bring up his assist numbers is hilarious considering the bums he's passing to for wide open 3s

Even when CJ is healthy, having just three total guys who can hit a three at a decent clip is not enough.

Shel I can't even do this with you man. We won 4 games. Lost a close one due to depth and Zion being fat. Got blown out in the others. And you think we gave effort in 1/10 games. That math and mathin for me at all

I'll ask you again, you are on record stating through 10 games, you think the effort has been there, right?
quote:

I can't believe you are making sweeping judgements of a team playing JRE and Matt Ryan major minutes. That is wild

What do those 2 players have to do with the effort and execution of our top 2 players?

Are you conceding we're not a top 4 West team, and just comparing us to hopefully getting a top 10 seed and getting into the play in? That's what it sounds like. Because if you think we have top 4 talent and you're not quite concerned with what our best 2 players are doing this season, i'm not sure what you're watching.

Missing your 2nd and 3rd guy and still having the MVP is a bit different than missing the MVP and an all star lol

Pelicans suck. It’s a rinse repeat franchise. No sense following this anymore.

I think that's the weirdest narrative that some fans have taken.

Yeah, we've had a lot of injuries, but to act like we're the only team that happens to is just weird.

What record do you think the Nuggets have right now, without Jokic or Murray for the whole season?

I reckon they have 3 wins… maybe
Reread that

What would be the point of guessing the record of no Jokic/Murray when the Pels haven't played 10 games with no BI/Zion

WIKSF said that any team, let's use the Nuggets...if the Nuggets had Murray and Jokic for 7 and 8 out of 10 games but a few other injuries, his argument is that even the Nuggets would be a bottom 2-3 team by Net Rating through 10 games. You believe that?

This is true .

This is a mid level team. Nba version of the saints .

I’m concerned we missed our window to get value for Zion . He hasn’t looked good and is an injury away of being viewed as a negative contract .

Yeah teams superstars miss 60-80% of the season all the time.

This thread has gone full retard

So the problem with two of these things that you think are "really fricking good" is that Ingram has been a net negative for us
So has Zion, if we're being honest.

Again, like I said, if you're just happy to win 43 and maybe get in the play in, I get it. If you think we can go on a run late in the season to get to 36 wins and hopefully win 2 play in games to secure an 8 seed and get bounced in the 1st round, I get it.

But if you think this roster is a top 4 team in the West when healthy, you should be seeing some serious red flags right now.

Make up your mind.

You're saying the Pelicans can't win even with Zion and BI because others are hurt.

One thing in common with the pels and Saints...the owner. Her passiveness seems to trickle down to the coaches which in turn the team. They take on thepersonality of the coach. We have two the most passive head coaches in both leagues. The play of the players confirms this. Laid back and relaxed with no urgency seems to be the calling card of both teams. No accountability whatsoever.
