AD is one of the most sunshine pumper on the payroll and if he's saying that, we are pretty much fricked.

More importantly, he has more access to internal affairs than anyone else in the media. That tweet is 100% calling something or someone on the team out while staying vague to toe the company line, since he's employed by the team.

Fify. You're acting like we don't care for 48 minutes. And I know you know that isn't true

Why do these loser stars we have deserve a 4th! Coach? They are losers and should be traded for as much as we can get. They’ll just kill the next coach we bring in

Zion just mentioned hes taking a backseat according to Borrego’s system- I think this was a veiled shot at BI.

Is AST - To the only thing that determined if a player is great ?

Lebron resume speaks for itself so I’m not taking the bait there .

Top level ball handlers target a 3 to 1 . Chris Paul for instance is better than 4 to 1.

Coming into tonight Zion had 29 AST to 17 turnovers . That turnover number grew more than the assist number tonight and the turnovers have been a thorn in his side of late including a crucial one Friday night .

"2023-24 New Orleans Pelicans
Cared for 24 minutes every game"

Can't wait to see that banner hanging in the SKC rafters.

Who on behalf of the Pels is going to send the apology tweet to Chris Vernon?

I was front and center bashing him, but if we're being 100% honest, he said basically what a lot of us are now thinking and even AD is hinting at...that something was off with this team. We went at him hard, and now half of Pels fans are saying exactly what Verno was saying.

A? Luka and Kyrie are straight monsters right now. It's already a challenge beating that team healthy, and you expected us to win this game with Hawkins starting and JRE/Matt Ryan coming off the bench?

I agree with your pride statement. The teams overall mentality will have to change. Willie is a good coach. I have confidence he can do it.

You literally said in this thread that we're an easy top 4 team in the west when healthy, but now you're saying it's a challenge to beat the Mavs (who had a worse record than us last year) even when we're fully healthy. Can't have it both ways my baw.

You're just babbling nonsense for the sake of babbling nonsense.

For our best 2 players, nah it's not that they don't care for a full 48 minutes. They just aren't giving anywhere near the effort they should be unless they have the ball in their hands.

On defense, and off ball, the effort they've displayed through 10 games vs what they should be displaying, that we NEED them to display because we have all these injuries is quite honestly embarrassing.

Why does last year matter at all? The mavs are 8-2 and the best 3pt shooting teams in the league. Right now they look like a top 2 team in the west. Luka is on another level even for him. Don't act like this mavericks team is anywhere close to this year's mavs team. That's silly.

Well considering you keep bringing up last year everytime you ring the "WAIT TILL WE'RE HEALTHY!!!" bell, you tell me.

I don't care about the other players. Its a game of match-ups. Zion has to want to outplay Doncic. Or at least match him. All of the other players don't figure into it, or it shouldn't. He should take it personal. That's competition. That's what the greats do. If they are taking on a superstar, they have to step up. Can't be passive or just try to fit into a system.

If Zion had 30+ and looked awesome in the loss, then I'd feel better about it. Same with Ingram to a degree. Then the debate about the rest of the team is more valid. But if those two aren't good to great, then we aren't ever going to be better than average..

You're the one that ducked my answer about our opponents in our losses win %

39-17 isn't mid. I wasn't grasping for shite.

The mavs were a totally different team in May of last year and couldn't adjust.

We were the same team as last years and got hurt.

How are you not seeing the difference?

You're literally grasping right now.

A team employee is saying that the issues are more than injuries and you're still doubling down.

Just take the L and go to sleep.

All of this right here.

If playing with Matt Ryan makes Zion go from a uber elite scorer to a below average efficient scorer, then we have some serious red flags to throw up.

It seems all the energy is directed towards Zion/BI are playing with 2-ways and scrubs and that's why we're losing, but it's giving zero focus on the fact that Zion and BI are playing like absolute shite right now and they deserve the bulk of the blame for how bad we're playing.

I'm done debating this thread tonight guys. My wife is gonna be pissed if I stay on my phone much longer.

I'm pretty frustrated. Like most of you I'm not ignorant to our flaws, I'm just a believer of improvement.
