Jose being the first guard off the bench makes me happy.

Trey hitting 66% of his 3's makes me even happier. BI and Jose both with 50% with those wide open looks.

The team chemistry is great. The Nets didn't know who to focus on.

Not even going to bring up who was -4 on 0% shooting...

Pels Stacked, league....

Great way to start the season. NBA franchises on notice. The best part about this, we have legit scoring coming from every player. Deep team

Not to keep piling on here but Kira hasn’t played in a year, Jaxson is hurt, and the European MVP got zero minutes tonight. So deep.

Can we admit the possibility that Naji may have improved?

Naji played very much under control when the game was still in question. He did exactly what we needed him to do. He didn’t turn into Hero Ball Naji until the last three mins in garbage time.

It's time to use small samples irresponsibly.

The CJ, Herb, Ingram, Zion, JV lineup had a 148.1 ORTG and 56.7 DRTG.

That's a +91.5 Net Rating

Time to start screening who they let on the bandwagon. We don't want the front running Lakers fans that can do enough mental gymnastics to think the Pels are "their" team because they cheered for BI and Nance once upon a time.

One thing willie said post game that I really like is he said Herb is such a pivotal piece for our starters because him guarding the other teams best player helps keep guys like BI more fresh for offense. The balance is fantastic among the starters.

It's huge. We haven't had a player you could put on an island like that since Ariza. Not having to double the other team's star all game lets everyone else stay on their own man and keeps you from getting shredded.

Herb blocking Durant's corner 3 was the best moment of the night.

It reminded me of the one or two times that DWest blocked Dirk's fadeaway jumper. Nearly impossible to do.

It was the first time Williamson played with many of his new Pelicans teammates after not playing in a regular-season game since May 4, 2021. In fact, of the players who saw action against the Nets, only Ingram and Naji Marshall had played in a regular-season game with Williamson before.

This team will be insane once they develop chemistry.
