We’re not ready for this conversation

But when CJ is off, it really fricks up how he runs the offense and how he plays defense. He’s already an average defender but then he tries to solo ball like in Portland to get out of it and it fricks up everything. Ultimately, I think he plays better when he doesn’t have the ball as much. Zion was clearly better as a passer and running the offense tonight. The sooner WG realizes the ball should be in BI and Zion’s hands way more than CJ’s, we will find some rhythm offensively

Again why did we give him 64m this offseason? Who else was paying that? His contract is going to be untradeable

Yall just let me know when I can actually start talkin bout Willie Green and yall dont pearl clutch.

He hasn't been stellar with line ups or schemes so far. We should really be playing better with the talent we have. We have to play better during these home games.

Players Coach - a moniker that can be good and bad at times.

I'll hold back on questioning what the hell we do at practice because well I dont see them, that would be idiotic.

However, we look like a team that has zero defensive philosophy, can be outright lazy, and have very small attention to detail when it matters the most.

We spent 20 + games last year learning how to close, and why does it feel like were having to slightly do that again?

Rotations are dogshit. Period.
Inability to understand your personnel so bad that the twitter nerds actually get proven right is REALLY bad.

He's young and I get that. However it doesnt mean I cant be frustrated with some of the simple things we seem to not be able to do now, consistently.

Your'e assuming the next 3 years he will shoot like he has the past 10 games. He will shoot better, I can guarantee that.

We know he's playing with a hurt finger. He will be fine.

The next few games are against competent 3 point teams so we shall see how this above average defense works out. Could get ugly, thankfully they have a nice home stand coming

If the other team can shoot 3s just count it as a loss. This team thinks its 1992, they'll hit 8 3s while the other team hits 20 and wonder why they lost. Its fricking math 3>2 but this team doesnt get that

CJ’s issue is a chucker that might get hot and is game planned to be attacked on defense on switches an pick and rolls. he is always given up on shooters and gets caught in no mans land. there's so much film on him. He was the weakness in portland. Great guy when he is Hot. Jonas is the taller version of CJ. We got really good deals on both for that reason. Zion could of fouled all there starters out tonight but the system refuses to adjust. BI and CJ and Jonas want there points. The Hot hand on this team always suffers. Willie needs to get his head right as a coach. Its like the team and his coaching staff is going thru the motions.

Looks like Nance avoided serious injury and even could have returned if needed.

He'll be evaluated before next game.

Great news, that appeared to be bad.

CJ has never been an average defender. He is a turnstile.

He's been more than adequate this season. One of the better drtg on the team as well as 2nd highest +/- on the team.
