The crazy thing is I get the Trey feeling when Hawkins shoots the ball and more shocked when it dont go in.

Yeah he has a smooth stroke for sure and seems to be comfortable shooting the 3 just about any way possible.

Maybe Vinson just needs to tweak him a little.
I would think fine tuning is less a problem than a total rebuild like Lonzo.

I know its summer league but it be nice if they just ran one set play lol. This is really hard basketball to watch. Liddell to me has looked the most solid.

The important thing is Dyson, Hawkins and EJ have all looked about as expected. Karlo has been disappointing but the team already knew that because they said they aren't bringing him over this year.

Dyson looks great. Still needs to be more aggressive on offense. EJ started slow but then showed some flashes. Karlo is athletic but that’s about it. Hawkins shot isn’t falling but he’s not doing much else. Everyone else on this team needs to start learning Chinese

Nahhh, he doesn’t need any tweaking, just has to get comfortable shooting from the NAB 3 point line.
His shot is perfect and right on target, shooters just hit streaks where they shoot 25%, then get hot and hit 60%.
The main thing is he doesn’t get down that it’s not falling like Trey did early on, just keep shooting it.

Like Seth, Hawkins can have a decent nba career being good at one thing and bringing that shot consistently off the bench.
We should have just been grabbing the best shooter available with every draft pick since getting Zion.
He may flame out but I’ll never criticize drafting shooting when you are putting pieces around Zion.
