I was really wanting to see at least one more year outta Daniels...just in case he could pull a "Herb type" 3rd year leap offensively...but...gotta admit, I like the trade for Murray.
Murray should be motivated to play hard on both ends of the court for the Pels...and I look forward to his solid defense and hopefully...a continuation of his improving 3-pt shooting...in both % made AND frequency.
Wish DD all the best in Atlanta...and I hope the Hawks move Trae so DD doesn't have to play with the guy. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Lol how??! Without CJ we don’t make the playoffs at all both years. And don’t bring up NAW and Hart- they both found their role on the second team after leaving Pels.

Dude I’m not going to pat CJ on the back for 2 first round losses. BI carried us the year we acquired CJ and forced that series to 6 games (BI’s best year as a Pel) and when Zion went out again this year while BI was rusty as hell we got our arse spanked by OKC. Game 1 the ball was in CJ’s hand playing for game and he literally fumbled the opportunity. If a 1st round exit is your baseline for a successful season then yes CJ has been a resounding success

So all the success in the reg season doesn't count.

You do realize without CJ we’re not even in play-in. Thats the whole point. CJ made us a better team. And we gave up basically Hart and NAW for him. Not even a first. I get getting on Griffin but that was a good deal for us.

Seriously. Why does all postseason failures fall on CJs shoulders?
Posted on 6/28/24 at 9:54 pm to Mickey Goldmill
You can either put the blame on BI or CJ, or Zion’s lack of availability if you choose. However, BI was a bonafide superstar in the Suns series. CJ is not a clutch performer and he doesn’t play defense, he’s not a winner and he’s never been a winner

You know the real blame for all of our postseason failures is due to our superstar not being available right? You do know how much better cj is with Zion out there right?

He has made it further in the playoffs than our org ever has. Just stop

We made it further when AD and Jrue swept CJ’s team lmao

What the hell? Dude went to conf finals and has been to more postseasons than this organization has been in the last 10 years. This is just a dumb statement.

CJ went to a conf finals. The pelicans have never gotten that far. Just stop.

Idk what yalls obsession with CJ is. He is a streaky shooter who sucks at defense, you live and die with his shot and when the moment is bright, you can bet you’re dying with his shot. He sucked arse against the Pels in that playoff series in 2018, and he sucked arse this year against OKC. Dude has been a disaster for the Pels, a glorified JJ Redick. Dame carried him to the conf finals one year? Cool. He still sucks and has been a pivotal part of our rotation for the last 3 seasons

Hahaha. He was the reason the blazers beat the nuggets and got to conf finals. Dame struggled in that series. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Look it up if you dont believe me.

Streaked his way to 42.9% from 3 on the season

A 43% three point shooter on over 8 attempts per game last year. You’re calling him a disaster. Either you’re trolling or you should just stop following basketball.

I’m glad that CJ did well in 1 of his playoff series in his career. About a 1 in 10 chance he performs like the $33M annual player he’s paid to be. That 1 in 10 was similar to his 3 pt % against OKC in our embarrassing sweep
Posted on 6/28/24 at 10:09 pm to Mickey Goldmill
Mickey, buddy. Go to his game log on espn and tell me what % he shot against OKC from 3. I’m curious and too stupid to figure it out myself
