A good deal whether people want to admit it or not is

Pels get Capela and Tobias Harris (sign-and-trade)

Hawks get Paul Reed and picks

Sixers get BI and Garrison Mathews

Time to rehash this thread with the Murray trade and now that we know we have a PG.

Next trade:
Philly: Ingram, Strus or Levert(if Cleveland wants to dump salary)
Cavs: Reed, 2 1sts from Philly
Pels: Allen, McCain

This trade puts us around 20 million below the tax so we have access to full MLE and BAE to use, along with the Kira TPE if someone wants to dump a player. I would offer full BAE to Achiuwa, full MLE to Hayward, bring back Zeller. Giving full BAE to Precious maybe enough to get him away from Knicks,

Murray/McCain/Jose
Herb/CJ/Hawk
Trey/Hayward/Ryan
Zion/Achiuwa/JRE
Allen/Missi/Zeller

That’s 15 deep of guys that can play

Idk why you're getting downvoted. This would be an excellent outcome.

Only thing I would change is I would give the MLE to Naji instead of Hayward. He looked pretty washed this year and we could really use Naji's defensive versatility off the bench now that Dyson is gone.

That is an absolutely disgusting return unless there are multiple 1st involved.

Tier 1:
KAT
Lauri

Tier 1.5:

Allen
Kessler

Tier 2:

WCJ
Mitchell Robinson
Mark Williams
Duren
Stewart
Reed
Ayton

I still think we could end up with Capella if we choose one of the rookie contracts.

I will still hold strong on my original offer. More so that we have Murray.

BI for John Collins + Kessler + 1-2 1st.

Murray/ Jose/ vet or rookie
CJ/ Herb/ Hawk
Trey/ Reeves/ Ryan
Zion/ Collins/ JRE
Kessler/ Missi/ vet min

Or best case scenario would be

Kessler + picks + Capella

That’s not a good trade in the slightest. Paul Reed by himself is plenty for Capella.

What’s thoughts on this one:
6ers: Ingram
Knicks: TPE
Nets: Reed, Jose and 2028 clips pick
Pels: Robinson, Johnson, McCain, 4 2nds from Knicks, 2030 6ers 1st

Nets get a guy they can flip for another pick and a 23.6 million TPE, Jose gets a team with zero expectations in his hometown where he can showcase his talents on the final year of his contract

Knicks send 2nds to move Robinson so they can resign IHart

Pels get their lead bench guard of the future, starter at the 5 and primary backup to Zion that can play small ball 5 and shoot lights out while replenishing 2nds and getting a far out pick that could be very good. This would have us around 5 million below the tax, 13 million below the first apron, so we could realistically use our NTMLE for someone and fill out the 15th spot with a minimum and have space below the apron

Murray/McCain/?
Herb/CJ/Ryan
Trey/Hawk/Reeves
Zion/Cam/JRE
Robinson/Missi/?

For the last two spots you could overpay for Drummond, something like 8 million on a one year deal to give you injury insurance for Robinson, then do the same for Aaron Holiday at a 1 year 4 million or so. We would have multiple options we could go with for those last two spots for sure

Bruh chill out about McCain. They probably aren't going to trade him, we don't need him, and you value him way too high.

Knicks need cap space. We should'nt lose 1sts by helping them.

Cam Johnson is not worth Reed + Jose + 28' 1st especially to be our backup..

BI is not worth McCain + 4 2nd + 1 1st.

You’re correct, he’s likely worth more than that.

Not necessarily. There is not a lot of teams who can take 25+ mil into a PF. John Collins/ Cam Johnsons contracts are both meh. John Collins would be closer to a center and would actually help more for fit IMO.

Regardless of Johnsons "value". He does NOT have that value on our team. We need a starting center, backup PF, backup SF.

The trade would be a base of Tobias Harris + (2) picks

Then you have (1) pick + Reed to flip for a better center.

Or you wrap in Capella to make salaries works.

So:

Hawks: (2) 2nds

Philly: BI

Pels: Tobias + Reed + Capella + (3) 1st

All of that is literally covered with above trade…

BI, Nance, Dyson, EJ, Jose and 2 1sts out

Murray, McCain (who philly absolutely will include), Cam, Robinson, 2nds and a 1st in

You get your starting PG, bench PG, starting C, backup PF/small ball center, and the flexibility to use your 12 million TPE however you choose.

Cam is under contract for 3 more years at 23,21,23 million

You don't include value for Cam Johnson who we don't need and Mitchell who they HAVE to get rid of even for peanuts.

The base package is Tobias + (2) 1st.

Then you have Reed + ????? ( Maybe an extra 1st maybe 4 2nds)

Then you can add 1 of: Robinson/ Capella. For 2nds.

Then you have the decision to keep Reed or attach Reed and 1 of the picks for:

Kessler
Mark Williams
Stewart

No thanks.

This is horrible bruh. Who you think Harris is? Cam is younger and better than he is and his contract is less than Harris will sign for. I swear y’all see names and not the actual players.

So if you break it down:

Secured: Tobias + (2) 1st - BI

Secured: Capella/ Robinson - 2nds from Philly

Secured: Reed + 1st or 2nds - BI

If you don't like Reed/ Missi then you can consider one of the other younger centers and attach a pick. Ideally keep 28-31' picks and use our owm 25' or something.

I meant base package as in 100% coming back.

The whole package would be

Tobias + Reed + (2-3) 1sts + 2nds

We may take Reed + (1) 1st + 2nds to solve the center spot.

If Philly trades 2nds for Robinson then our "base package back" is:

Tobias + (2) 1st + Robinson

Then we can still take Reed + 1st and get someone else if we want. Like Kessler.

So Tobias + (2) 1st + Robinson + Kessler.

Sounds like pretty good value for BI to me.

I think this one would be my new favorite.

I don't think so. He's more of a 3/4 tweener than a 5.
