This is a good case study for how easily rumors are spread. Shel: doesn’t know what time the Twolves game starts, claims I outed an alter, WIKSF agrees conclusively, LouisianaJoseph “too obvious.” One person with a working cognitive system comes in and figures it out anyways. You have common sense, sir. Well done

Everyone says they want fewer games, but this is the BS we have to discuss when they aren't playing every other night.

I'd be worried as frick with any other team.

I’d throw the TWolves in there too with no KAT. But I agree. I really don’t want to see us matched up with the Clips in Round 1. Would much rather OKC. I could see the TWolves falling to the 3 seed with KAT hurt.

Us being the 6 and TWolves being the 3 seed is probably my ideal matchup other than the Kings, of course

It's all in fun. I don't care how many alters people use. I've got 3 my self!

Alters are fine, as long as you’re not talking to yourself.

Fair play lol. This is what the lack of games does to us but I do find it amusing how homeboy stated as a matter of fact the TWolves game was at 7:00. Tip off at 6:10 pm, my post at 6:37 pm right about the time TWolves won the 1st Q by 10.. one thing we can conclude is Shel is not a detective by profession

I don’t think KAT is a good, winning player. I like players who know their role and can contribute on both ends. KAT is a 6’11 SG. They lost the game to the Clippers because KAT had Harden matched up on him in the last minute but instead of going into the paint and abusing the size difference, dude went to the perimeter first and then tried to hit a floating drive on him. Their lineup is lengthy as hell with KAT out of there and full of 3 and D players. Jaden McDaniels and Kyle Anderson are scary defenders, NAW is also giving them good minutes.
I just don’t believe in scoring PFs like KAT who can’t defend. They could probably use another scorer but they are better without him

For a little context: I know blocks aren’t an end all be all stat but
Shai: 1.0 blocks pg this season
KAT: 0.7 blocks pg this season
That’s inexcusable. He’s just a big scorer, not even close to a 2 way player which I’d argue you kinda have to be at 6’11/7 feet. All people look at is points which makes KAT seem better than he is but in reality Gobert is the far better player and the problems with the TWolves lineup has been unfairly put on Gobert the past 2 seasons when really KAT is the problem

think you misunderstand what my position is. I agree with you…nobody is kicking arse against the elite teams including the pels. The premise of this thread is that the west is “wide open” for the pels to take advantage

But it isn’t, not even close.
one of the nuggets, thunder or clippers are winning the west and however that turns out, the pelicans won’t have anything to do with it.

Not trying to call you out grand. But this thread was spot on. Mavs got hot at the right time and are mostly healthy. The west playoffs were an absolute crapshoot

Yep, 50T nailed it

Too bad we just were never healthy enough to at least get the chance, though we weren't good enough either.

That's the conundrum, if Zion doesn't get hurt, we potentially beat the Lakers, and our reward would have been a quick series against the Nuggets.

Nonetheless, obviously still would have liked to see Zion get those reps.

We probably need another consistent scorer.
