Having been a fan since early 2000, this was the one Pels/Hornets team that legitimately had a chance to go all the way (+ maybe that year when we lost to the spurs in the conference semis with paul), which makes this Zion soap opera hurt more than normal.
However, at the end of the day its just a game and i realize that.
Life will go on and if it does affect people’s personal lives then thats when they need to get perspective and take a step away.

Someone brought this up on Twitter as well to describe the entire fanbase and where it's at right now. And it's true. I believe most, if not all of the toxicity right now is simply the fans being fed up by lack of transparency by the FO, by Zion and his camp and a lack of accountability from them as well as a lack of awareness by our local media, whom are always combative at fans when they're called out for not being better at their jobs and for not putting pressure on how badly the franchise has been operated since we acquired Zion.
Couple that with the fact that we were once at the top of the West with Zion healthy before Trey's ascension and while BI was still hurt. We looked like we were going to make a serious run at the Western Conference Finals and all the suffering and the wild ride we went on LAST YEAR was going to mean something. Then it was snatched away. Can't say I blame us or others for being hypercritical.
