Spurs are going to pick Sochan. I am convinced of that.

Charlotte gets 8 and Hayes
Suns get Temple, 15, and 53 (to sell to help pay Ayton), Celtics 2024 2nd via Hornets
Pelicans get Cam Johnson, 13, 41
That's hard to pass up.

I'll give Crewz credit, that one is interesting at least.
Only problem is the pelicans can't get 41. They already have it.

I assumed that was just a typo
But yeah that's probably one of the best trade down trades I've seen.
He's also said MIN has called about Jax but take that with a grain of salt.

That’s the Kindof deal I would definitely do. I don’t think the Suns trade Cam for 15 unfortunately.
Mark Williams then would become really interesting to me as a needed backup true center, defensive anchor that we maybe don’t need for a year or two. But then year three and four could be a cheap starting center when the dollars get tight.
Come out of the draft with Cam and Mark, and we have no major holes on the roster.

Why is it so hard to accept that Crewz has sources?
Mans always taking it personally that they don't have any insider sources
Just be happy that Pels have a fairly deep insider and post intel on the Interwebs
Guys like Shamit and Jake don't have anywhere near the intel that Mac does

I’d be down with this trade, would be annoyed if the Spurs drafted Sochan after we did it, but we could still draft someone like Griffin at 10.
My ideal “realistic” scenario going into this draft is that trade with Washington and walking away with Sochan at 10.

Like I said I am starting to see increased chatter around Sochan to Spurs at 9. He has Spurs written all over him. I'd be shocked if he's there at 9 and the Spurs pass.

I would like to draft at #8 and wait til next year to make any moves. BUT we can’t sit here and know for a fact that the #8 pick will be worth a shite. Even if they are a decent role player would they be a better fit/player than Cam Johnson or other proven players?
It’s not just a question about salary anymore. We are trying to compete for a championship and whatever makes us better right now.
Minutes is another thing we should worry about later. You don’t not go get a guy because we already have players taking minutes. I’d rather several guys competing for minutes over 1 guy taking all of them because everyone behind him sucks.
Again y’all are arguing to keep lesser assets just to have comfort in knowing whose getting minutes. That’s not a great mindset.

Haven’t seen the chatter, but agree with the fit.

Feel like the Spurs are gonna reach for a big like Mark or Duren

i said next offseason, and yes it would be easy to get rid of him next offseason when he's basically an expiring.
and there are teams out there that actually would want him as their backup PG, right now, at the deadline, and next offseason.
There's also easy paths right now to trade down and get back a player that's expiring, like KCP or LeVert.
Graham is not a big negative contract. We can move him if need be.
