It's painful how skinny he is.

We have to have the record for the most guys over 6'6 that weigh under 200lbs. Jones, Ingram, Murphy, Daniels, Hayes, Seabron...some exaggeration, but dang..

Just finished it, solid interview.

JJ made it seem like they were fighting back and forth when he did the intro, but I didn't hear any of that at all.

He was one of the only all around bright spots from this season and you’re worried about him, our 6’10 freak athlete shooting guard, being a little skinny

Are you that much of a miserable pessimist?

I mean, TMIII said in his exit interview that gaining weight is one of his main goals for the summer. He was still growing in his rookie season last year, and it's hard to fill out when you're still growing up.

I know it's hard for his body type and he still probably has a crazy metabolism. I just don't see any of our players being physically developed. It doesn't make sense..

BI has added a lot of muscle in the last two years.

You think so?

I don't see it. He's never going to be jacked. But I'd love for him to be in the 220s with a more developed base.

We are just a weak team. Good size and length, but no power or strength outside of the front court positions..

It’s hard to see since he was so thin, but he has absolutely put on muscle. You can see it in his game, but he still needs more

It's hard to see because I'd say he's filled out more than he's bulked up, but you can tell with how he attacks the basket now that he's gained strength he needed.

Here are his shooting numbers from 0-3 feet since he's been here. He was just much more effective attacking the rim this year and it looked to me because he has gotten stronger and can handle the contact better.

2019-2020 65.4%
2020-2021 67.7%
2021-2022 68.1%
2022-2023 73.1%

I think it’s pretty obvious he’s put on weight

Any legit pels fan that’s been watching the past 2-3 years can tell BI has put on muscle. It’s really obvious and he’s way thicker than he was when we traded for him.

Trey adding weight would help so much. Would make him a better rebounder, defend the paint better, and he would be much better equipped to play the 4. His biggest weaknesses IMO are rebounding and strong, physical players attacking his body. Adding weight would help with all of that.

Maybe a little bit. But he is still sub 200.

I just don't understand how people get upset when I bring up professional athletes not optimizing their physical abilities by whatever means necessary. It's not an attack to say this or that guy needs to add strength or add size, get quicker, work on his shooting.. all of these things are in the same range of conversations.

BTW, I didn't single out Ingram. Its a running theme with many of our players. I just don't see guys improving physically while they are here. I'd love for that to change..

Don’t understand the flack on this one, Pels are underwhelming in the strength and conditioning area.
