Bookmark this shite. He’s a Beta. Game on the line and he’s hiding from the ball. CJ gets stuck with 5 seconds on the clock and runs a floater in the lane. SGA is an alpha and drives for a score.

There is a lot of truth to this. He is a second best guy, and a good one at that. Unfortunately, we haven’t gotten to see our best guy in meaningful games. I welcome the break from caring about this team for a few months.

Watch the last two minutes. He did not want the ball. He wasn’t even moving and he was not double teamed. He waived off a pick to try to set a back pick on the play and left CJ with 5 seconds on the fricking clock.

and i take the OP as meaning with BI as the focal point/lead player, and in that context, he's absolutely correct...
BI as "the guy", he ain't good enough... BI as "second fiddle", he's perfect for that role

He did not get trapped. Someone tried to set a screen for him and he waived them off and tried to screen Treys guy and Trey had no idea and was confused. CJ had nowhere to go and had to try a runner with 5 seconds left. Maybe it’s on Willie and they drew up a double screen to Trey but Trey didn’t know.

What “is what it is” is this fan reaction after an elimination game.
The Pels have Hayes playing in crunch time & major 2nd half minutes.
An average power forward-Trey Lyles for example, and this game would be a win.
