Aren't combine weigh ins today?

The term “Stretch” 4 & 5 has been reserved for the bigs who can stretch out and knock down a catch and shoot
The big guys who can handle and create offense on their own are not stretch guys. There’s a big problem with people who haven’t watched Chet extensively

You are on record as thinking Jabari is borderline generational I believe.
I do think Jabari is a generational type guy
I think Banchero will get numbers but is the type of guy that will be traded 3x before he is 30.
And I think you have to weigh the Ivey fit vs team need & the potential disruption with his usage
To me, slowly integrating & developing a guy like Chet or Shaedon sharpe is very appealing. They may be less ready to start but would be better team fits with the same long term impact

I think of Tobias Harris when I see Banchero

Right. He’s a major mismatch against traditional post guys. And has the ability to live at the line once he understands how to use this to his advantage

No one wants to take him with the #1 pick. This thread has turned into the twilight zone
This thread/topics stems from another thread titled "Pels get #1, who you drafting"--that's where the questions regarding the Chet hate comes from. Someone thought it needed its on thread
maybe that's where the confusion comes from I've already said if we get the 4 pick and he's there I'd prob take him or Sharpe.
both have huge flags

Those guys don't exist--that's why Porzings was named "the unicorn".
Injuries (frail frame?) or for whatever reason, he didn't work out--you're banking on Chet being the real unicorn--in an even more frail package.

I also don't see that dog in Chet
You’ve been saying stupid shite over and over and over. Then I read this and realized you actually don’t fricking know anything. Literally one of Chet’s strengths that everyone talks about is his toughness and the dog in him.

A 7fter C you're drafting #1 just to shoot 3s
You are the only one saying this. The point is he is very capable of hitting 3’s, not that it’s the only thing he can do.

I just watched a short interview with Holmgren. He seems like a nice kid. But I just couldn't take him up top. He is 2-3 years away from being a serious contributor. He is beyond skinny and just oddly built.
I hope he fills out and becomes a star. But I can't think of anyone that is a good comp that worked out. The body type is just so odd. The high shoulders and hunchback. Thin frame and wiry arms/legs. He just can't pile on muscle and get bigger. He has to build his base and get thicker. It's going to take years, if it ever happens..

Put on the tape of Chet vs Jalen Duren from the NCAA tourney. He’s given up 55 lbs. Maybe then you will understand
