Charlotte gets the #2 pick in the draft (hypothetically)

#2 (scoot)
pj Washington
Mark Williams
24 unprotected 1st
26 unprotected 1st

I personally don’t want to trade him but we can’t keep doing this with him. Charlotte gets Lamelo paired with Zion

Williams played well against the cavs "B" team last game of the season. That's all I got.

I kind of feel like OKC is more likely to make a trade.

They have an insane amount of draft capital that they'll never realistically be able to use.

OKC is closer to competing on a serious level. No star is going to sign there. They can get a star on a long term deal so Zion cant frick us like AD.

AD tried to screw us but we got at the time the largest trade haul of all time.

Lol I mean sure, but that’s not going to happen. The problem with these scenarios is that Zion’s current value due to everything off the court is nowhere close to his value based off of his on-court performances. The Pelicans won’t accept the kind of offer anyone would realistically be willing to make.

I’d love to somehow get PJ though.

Fair..it ended up working out.

But i dont know many stars have actually been dealt at the beginning of an extension. Theoretically they can get a haul to set us up for a long time.

Being able to sign guys like Murphy, Alverado, Jones makes me want to do this. All the bullshite aside...if they do want to trade him they really should do it over the offseason.
