Zion: 33 minutes, 2 Def Rebounds

Kinda incredible when you think about it. You almost have to actively avoid rebounding to have that low of a number with his physical traits.

Yeah, we suck at rebounding in general too. Not having a big who can get 10 a night is probably the biggest hole on the roster. Never knew how much we’d miss Jonas until he was gone

He is always jogging back rather than crashing boards. When you are always tired from being out of shape, you tend to get less rebounds.

i'm definitely not a zion defender, but yal just forget dude just tweaked his ankle.
the biggest issue is our 3 pt shooting is arse.

Weird how they bring up defensive rebounds specifically cause he added another 2 offensively. They can cherry pick any stat they want, I’d bring up 0 assists before I brought up specifically defensive rebounds. I think shooting 28% from 3 or the fact that Zion outscored our entire bench should be bigger concerns but bitchers will bitch.

Are you under the impression that 4 total rebounds in 33 minutes is more impressive?
Offensive rebounds are nice in a vacuum. When you consider Zion’s game, he lurks for OREBs and jogs back on defense. His offensive boards become much less impressive when you consider the tradeoff.

Yeah man. This team has plenty of problems. But it’s a star driven league, and Zion continues to not hold up his end of the bargain despite the org bending over backwards to coddle him for years. So yeah he deserves to get bitched out by fans. Hardly controversial.

I'm a 6-1 white guy. I think if I got 33 minutes of run in an NBA game right now, I could luck into 1-2 rebounds.
