As I said in the other thread. The website using “per capita” is a weak attempt to push their narrative. There is far fewer black people than white people which makes the per capita number much higher, however when correlated to crime rates, technically black people are killed far under what their white counterparts

To compare this to population is a bit naive. As I said in another thread, we’re talking about POLICE killing people. So mostly these are criminals dying. You’d have to correlate to crime statistics not total population.

We are far removed from our “greatest generation,” but those who served in that era did not “choose” to fight at all. They did because they had too for the benefit of us all.

By that same logic, black people commit more crime per capita than whites. Hence, a disproportionately larger number of interactions with the police.

Blacks make up roughly 15% of the population, but commit almost 60% of the crime.
They have far more interaction with police because they’re committing far more crime. Even with the higher rates of interaction, blacks had less deaths just last year at the hands of police than whites did.
