TM7 actually played pretty well. Is it just me who thinks this? He missed some tackles early on but he was playing well most of the season. I don’t get all the hate he’s been getting on here..

If he went to any other school, this thread would not have been started but bc he went to LSU let's pick him up. So dumb

He did. People here decide how they want things to be then insist they are that way.
He wasn't the honey badger, though. He was just a competent DB. I think that may be part of it, expecting him to be top-shelf TM7.

He has no burst whatsoever, his YPC is incredibly low, he was awful in short yardage situations and he lost his starting spot to a rookie in Tampa at the end of the year. Has no business being a starting RB in the NFL and shouldn’t get many carries at all regardless of role. He won’t be in the NFL much longer. I’m a die hard LSU fan FWIW

On a team that is already WAY up against the cap we can likely get equivalent production from a late round rookie at a fraction of the cost.
Dude came in fat as frick last offseason to Tampa and has lost just about all of his burst. He’s basically just a tall, slow, aging RB at this point about to hit the age when a lot of running backs fall off a cliff.

PFF likes him a lot too. People seem to mostly remember the badly missed tackles he had at the beginning of the year. He’s not the player he used to be but he’s still a good player

Not advocating for Lenny to be in the B&G, but the Bucs OLine this year was absolute trash and opposing defenses had little to no fear of Brady attacking deep over the top. He was facing loaded fronts with a backup OLine

Fournette doesn't like the saints.

This really is true. If it was anyone else they would be saying "no too much thread on the tires"....which is true. There are good young backs in the draft. Thats the smart play....but LSU.

Is he going to play Guard?

Spears from Tulane
Why not both? Unpopular opinion, Kamara is much closer to the end than many want to believe, even without his legal woes
EDIT: Does not have to be these tWo, But I think it's a good idea to bring in a free agent and a rookie. One thumper and one make you miss guy

Sign Lenny
Draft a young RB
Let the Kamara stuff play out

Would you like Guice to be our Rb2
Guise is a POS. Lenny still got something in the tank albeit for a fair price. He’s better than Ingram. You would rather spend a 1st or 2nd on a RB? Cause we need one

Fournette as your primary and Spears as your 3rd down. Ill take that. Fournette gotta be a fair price though.

There are plenty of other RBs that won’t be turning 29 during the season with a lot of usage. Paying for a RB in his late 20s is just dumb. Especially one that doesn’t make staying in top shape a priority as he ages. He’s closer to being out of the league than a difference maker.

You may be right, sure he wasn’t the badger but he was solid and imo he was an integral part of the best pass defense in the league.
