We’re heading into the season with the least experienced QB roster we have ever had.

This does sort of set the stage for the Saints to go 2-15 - which is needed, but I'm not sold on Arch yet. I don't even know if he's a good college QB at this point.

I wasn’t aware anyone hated Erxleben. People couldn’t believe some of his flubs at the time but quickly realized it was the organization that drafted him #1 that deserved the hate. He settled on the northshore and history seems to have treated him kindly.

Does anyone think the Saints offered him something under the table to retire, or they were going to go after him legally? Perhaps they asked him to forego the 30 million but get paid 1 million a year for 15 years? I am just throwing out numbers and timeframe. Could it be a Bobby Bonilla-like agreement?
It just looked to me that the Saints picking a QB and celebrating it was a message that we want SHough even if it does not pan out, because we are done with Carr.
Been a fan for almost 40 years. Saw the Saints in the toilet for many of years. I have never seen so much fighting, arguing, yelling on the sidelines between the team and Carr. Carr was a bad pill.
It just looked to me that the Saints picking a QB and celebrating it was a message that we want SHough even if it does not pan out, because we are done with Carr.
