Ya'll are writing him off as guilty without any type of evidence or the other side of the story. We don't know anything and Kamara deserves the benefit of the doubt. He has never been in any kind of trouble, not a hint

You are right. We don’t know the whole story or have any evidence. However, the people that do seem to think it justifies his arrest and some pretty serious charges. If this was a player on another team, I’d imagine your opinion would be different. It’s not as if our opinions or initial reactions have any impact on his situation. Kamara is probably my favorite current Saints player, however the optics of the situation (initially at least) do not look very good.

I still maintain that the NFL hosting the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas puts a lot of these players in a bad situation. As a young star in the NFL, I have no doubt they get provoked often. We somehow went from worrying about the integrity of the NFL by having a franchise in “Sin City” to giving them a franchise and hosting the Pro Bowl there.

Who in the hell commits a battery at a lounge at 5:50 in the afternoon?

The timing of the incident doesn’t make sense. These type of things happen between 2:00 am and 3: 00 am.

Kamara caused substantial bodily injury, so he fricked the victim up pretty good.

Who, the cops? This isn't PT so I won't go into all the wrong things cops do.

Nope. Innocent until proven guilty. There's no elevator video here, if there was then maybe there is something, until there is some evidence I will withhold judgement on a player that has represented the Saints and the NFL very well in his time in the league.

Will he be waived?

What am I saying? Of course he won’t be.

How do you people know what’s out of character for Kamara? Unless you personally know him, none of us know what he or any athlete are really like to know what’s in or out of character. Ninety percent of what you see and hear from athletes is PR sanitized bullshite.

What he allegedly did in Vegas could be a rare thing. Or it could be something that he provoked. Who knows?

Hopefully the victim was a white guy in a MAGA hat and Joe Rogan shirt that has ties to anti-vaxxing

If Vegas has a Soros funded DA like Jason Williams in New Orleans then they won't prosecute. Problem solved.

Because in the five years in New Orleans he’s been a pretty upstanding representative of the New Orleans Saints and in general a decent human being that out of all the goombas on the Saints I would give the benefit of doubt too.

If this were Drew people wouldn’t second guess it.

also believe it’d take a hell of a situation for nopd to write his name in a report.

Doesn’t really mean anything. Remember a few years ago hearing about Cam having a dust up at a club in the warehouse district. That story was getting around within a week. Never underestimate how quickly someone looking for a pay day will run to press charges, hit the media, get their billboard attorney…

Yah he had way too much fun but good thing for him is that he has a couple good lawyers Laborde & Earles that can help him out in a gippy.

He definitely could, but some of this just sounds a little off. Alvin would be far down the list of people I would expect this from, and usually when stuff like this happens it's after midnight, not 7PM or earlier.

Sounds like someone fricked around and found out. Regardless, this is the exact reason why you have a posse with you. If someone bucks up to you, you let some no body beat his arse, let him get arrested, and pay his bail. Kamara is a dipshit for doing this and he will be suspended at best. At worst, we find out it was a woman and he goes the way of Ray Rice or Kareem Hunt and we are talking about the cap hit from cutting him.
