no one is rooting for them to lose games, bro... but the REALITY is this is a 3 win team... no one wants their favorite team to suck so much, but they do... it is what it is... this is not a good team.... adding an aging, mediocre QB doesn't change that, in any way, shape or form...

what is the difference to you, in winning 5 or 6 games vs. 3 games? you still in the same basic position, but the added risk of possibly losing draft position...

we are in the state we are in already b/c of those 8-8, 9-7 just missed the playoffs types of seasons...

yes, it will suck to see them lose so many games, but the greater good is to let the obvious happen, then take the picks we will have and use those picks to acquire as much talent, across the board, as we can...

and fwiw, we likely won't be all that much better next year either... it will take a few season to get this roster turned over, b/c there are a lot of positions we need a tremendous amount of help at

As you can see I don't post all that much.

But this Guy chRxis gets it very very well said.

Hats off to you

Falcons fan here....Saints should play Shough to see what they have. It's the best chance to stumble across a legit starter without cycling through older QBs to try and bridge to a younger franchise QB.

I do not want to give up a single asset for a QB or anyone else.

We need all draft capital we can muster for our future.

Also, not sure if you are aware of this minor fact, but the Atlanta Falcons are in our conference, in our division and also happen to be our most bitter rival. Not sure why you think they would be eager to assisting us out of the hole we dug for ourselves.

You want to give draft choices to our rival?

NONE of this matters until you find your Coach+QB combo..

You can stack first overall draft picks for years and still be spinning your wheels like the Jaguars or Jets.

The Saints just sold out of season tickets. Clearly there are enough people who dont mind watching a shite show for a while until we get the formula right and have another 20-year run of being contenders.

Everybody listen to this guy!

The Saints sold out of season tickets for the 2025 season. That means that the fans are being patient and supporting the franchise during this rough patch.

Rebuild and stay patient and focused. Some aging QB on another team is not the answer here. Kirk Cousins is in Atlanta where he belongs and where I hope he stays.
