just don’t see how you give him the 4-5 year deal and feel good about it. It fricking sucks.
I hate it for him because he’s such a good guy and teammate. He’d definitely do whatever to help us out contract wise if it came down to it, example was Ram was still signed to the team for an extra year so the dead money didn’t immediately accelerate onto 2024’s cap like it should have.
I’m sure they’ll do their due diligence to account for it as much as they can and at least we know this going into the negotiation

I told y’ll over and over he’s one of the top young receivers in the NFL all they do is downvote.
Shut up fig. Nobody says he doesn’t have the talent. But for you to ignore all the soft plays and drops that were critical is pure delusional.
We all want him to succeed and maximize his potential. Unfortunately the injuries have haunted him and forced him to play scared, but the last few games of the season he seemed to really turn a corner and play with increased focus and passion.
Just stop with your stupid I told you so’s when all you ever say in here is ridiculous nonsense.

He really is, and I too hate it for him. As frustrating as his play has been the last 2 years, I always wanted him to be great. He’s the type of man with great character that we all should want to succeed. But man it really is a big risk to commit that much money for a player that has a high probability to not play

And you think this 30 year old would be good on the browns don’t you

Here we go with the excuses for Shedeur’s crappy play
you think he was sabotaged don’t you?
Posted on 1/10/26 at 10:57 am to Marrero
He is not a number 1 WR. He'll catch the easy stuff. But then he'll alligator arm the game winner like against Miami. #1s make the contested catches. Plus he might be one more hit from retirement.

Olave sucks
None of these clown voters know much about him apparently

And Olave’s productivity went through the roof once that “30 year old” qb took over. Imagine having to swing on Jaxon Dart’s nuts because your fragility won’t let you accept that Shough is better than your precious Shedeur.
Pathetic

Olave isnt worth $100MM. Loomis is a clown if you give him that. Y'all are clowns for wanting to pay him $20MM+
I’m not arguing whether he’s good enough or worth it but that’s the market value
He’s 2nd team all pro and ranked top 10 in catches, yards and tds
Whether it be the saints or someone else, he’s gonna get paid over 20 million a year
Do you realize that fricking Jakobi Meyers got a 3 year 60 million dollar contract from Jacksonville

Nobody hates on Olave for his play, it was his injury concerns with the concussions and some lack of physicality.
Wrong, you should read some of the deadline threads, most people were pissed he wasn’t shipped off for a 5th instead of Shaheed. Go read the other thread that was just bumped.

Olave has an concussion riddled 45 games of not producing like a high contract WR
his 9 games with Shough warrant a nice deal
Now the blood clot stuff
Choose wisely

His 45 games consisted of the following stellar QBs
-Andy Dalton
-Jameis Winston
-Derek "Hospital Ball" Carr
-Spencer Rattler
I think I trust the 9 games with Shough much more than those 45. Especially if Shough says he wants him here.

Don’t get me wrong I’m a big Olave fan. But don’t make the mistake of paying him big $. He’s too skinny and injury prone.

Carr, Winston, and Dalton have led WRs to monster seasons. WRs who are paid like Olave will be paid transcend QB play.
We all love the production and rapport with Shough. We are downplaying the risk though given the recency bias
