There’s truly some weird people in this world.

I think there's no way Sean Payton isn't coaching next season so I see us getting our firsts back, but I know we've also given up other picks so it'd be nice not to be at a deficit for once

Da aints are one of the teams interested in Mike Gesicki ... IF Miami decides to trade him

Trading Deonte would be borderline retarded
Not necessarily. He is a RFA that they couldn't come to terms with, so he is on a one year deal. He is an all pro returner, but has proven to be injury prone and we don't know what his contract demands are. We probably are going to play him a lot less at WR because of Thomas, Olave and Landry this year.
If they think he could be replaced as a returner with someone like Shaheed and you can get a 3rd or 4th for him, it would make sense. Why pay 5 million for a returner when you can get similar production from a guy making 500k

Baun
Gardner Johnson
Harty
Saints aren’t trading Roby and no one is trading for these fringe roster guys. Every team has their own guys in the same mold

Callaway also did well as a PR, they just couldn't use him in that role to much last year because he needed to be the #1 WR

just guessing, but i'm sure they are asking about Dixon, Merritt, Smith, Sewell, Roby, Evans, possibly Hansen and Granderson

Absolutely Nobody is asking to trade for Dejean Dixon, Kirk Merrit, Delphi Sewell, Justin Evans or Chase Hansen.
All are undrafted fringe players with the exception of Evans who has been out of football for 2 years

So we’re keeping Derland Moore and Bob Pollard?

To those "no one is trading for fringe players" group, you need to look at end of preseason transactions. I went to a training camp function a few years ago, where they served us breakfast and had the head scout come out and talk to the group. He talked exactly about this scenario. He said they keep an eye on every team's position battles, needs, likely cuts and the waiver order. If they need depth at LB and they see that the Bills have a quality player that is caught in a numbers game, they will call them up and see if they can throw a late round pick at them to get them.
You are not trading for or trading out quality starters. You are trading for depth or upside.

there ABSOLUTELY are teams that would be far down the waiver wire, who may have interest in our WRs, for sure... Green Bay comes to mind...

The same goes for our roster. If you know Dixon is going to get claimed, but you don't have a spot on your roster for him, trade him for a 7th.

Someone needs to put a bug in Aaron Rodgers’ ear and get him excited about Calloway.
