So the guy who is supposed to be the best is first in only 1 category? And you laugh as if this was some type of gotcha?

Must be a Lester post

Meanwhile 3 of his 7.5 total sacks (yes you read that right, the best edge player in all of college only has 7.5 sacks) came in one game last night, which was his best game of the season. That means in 11 games prior to last night, he had 4.5sacks. That averages out to 0.4 sacks per game.... for the best edge rusher in all of college football.... that you are knighting for...

That also means that 40% of his total sacks were achieved in 1 single game, the one last night.

Let's dig a bit further, shall we? Prior to last night, Bain recorded a sack in only 5 out of his 11 games. 5  He even had a 4 game stretch of 0 sacks. Can you imagine the best edge player in all of college football going 4 games without recording a single sack? Well, I guess you can, because that's what you are defending

Wait a minute, Midget. Those were some top level competition he was playing against, and they were scheming to keep him out of the games. How can you not give him a pass? Louisville, Stanford and SMU are the best of the best. It's understandable and forgivable.

But but but, muh PFF says this best edge player in all of college football who will be the 1st overall draft pick in 2025 is ranked 1st in only one category by their perfect grading system REEEEEEEEE

I haven’t watched a ton of Miami this year, but what I did watch, I wasn’t overly impressed with him. He gave good effort, but wasn’t a huge impact. I feel like we have that player in Chase Young already.

I have been pretty impressed with Mauigoa of the little I’ve seen of him. If we can’t get Reese or Downs, that’s who I want.

jesus, you really do not understand the context of being the 4th overall rated edge defender in a data base with 170 teams, do you?

quote:

He even had a 4 game stretch of 0 sacks

USF: 0 sacks 7 hurries(!!!!!)
Florida St: 0 sacks,8 hurries(!!!!!!), 2 QB hits
Stanfrod: 0 sacks 7 hurries (!!!!!!)
NC St: 0 sacks, 4 hurries

who will be the 1st overall draft pick in 2025 i

dont think anyone is saying he is going to be the 1st pick in the draft. He is going to get dinged for his arm length. He'll probably go somewhere around pick 20.

draft prospectus /=/ college performance

Bain has 2x's(!!!!!!) as many QB hurries as:

Cashius Powell (SEC sack leader and popular Saints Talk draft pick)
Dylan Stewart (potential 1.1 in 2027 draft)
Keldric Faulk (projected top 15 pick 2026 draft)

Bro you really do go around in circles looking like a fool. Let me remind you of the statement I made that started you on this typical Lester ridiculous journey you traversed.

after a sub par (based on preseason expectations) season

"based on preseason expectations"

The dude was projected to be the top defender to be drafted and even considered to be the first overall pick depending on which QBs enter the draft. You're either really this dumb, or you are severely intellectually dishonest. You finally came around the saying the exact point I was making that you thought was so funny.

You're a joke, homegirl

Not sure what is so confusing to you. He lived up to expectations but is going to drop in the draft due to short arms, not performance. This really isn't very hard to understand, is it?

His arm length was known when he was a top3 pick in every mock draft before season started

chad, that stuff does not come into focus until now. You wouldn't know that, cause you are a casual.

I can assure you no reputable mock drafter organizer knowingly has a DL with 30" arms going 1.1 in the draft.

Most the reputable ones had Nussmeier 1.1 then Bain either 2 or 3.

I can assure you that every one that may have done so will absolutely be argued that they aren’t a “reputable mock draft organizer”

Im literally reading a blurb from one of PFFs top writers, dated Sept 5 2025,

"I currently have Bain 16th on my big board due to questions about his measurables".

Should be easy for you to find some and prove your point, Chad. These measurements are not common knowledge and mostly hearsay until actually measured at the combine or Sr Bowl

You realize you just put the length of his arms above his actual performance in that statement.
