what indication do you guys have that Ruiz is this dickbag who wanted to get free money and quit on us? The guy has been consistently available since he got here. Whether or not that actually helped us is another thing, but let's not act like he's a Davenport or Peat.
Payton and Co got cute and drafted a center the year after they drafted Eric McCoy, so they moved him to guard and it's safe to say at this point that the sunken cost of using a 1st rounder on him is over, and we can stop waiting for the light to come on
