When Vegas goes this much, they must know something that the rest don't. 16-17 points is a lot and they don't dole spreads like this out too often

I wonder where that ESPN researcher is pulling his Vegas numbers from and at what point during the week?

yes the 2009 Rams was bad like real bad that year. i know because i lost 2000 on that game. We was undefeated at the time so i thought it was a no brainer. Thats what i get for thinking

Not worth starting a new thread but, Zebra is playing in Champion's Square pre-game.

It's not like the Jets have some secret issue that nobody knows about. They were supposed to be historically bad this year. They were projected to have the 1st pick. Instead, McCown has a pretty decent year and makes the Jets a decent team. Now, he's out and will be replaced by a guy with a career passer rating of 57.9. Also, the Jets just got shut out by an awful Broncos team. That pretty much ended any outside shot at the playoffs. The Saints have everything to play for, and are coming off of a mini-bye week. The spread seems pretty reasonable to me.

#Jets DL Mo Wilkerson won’t make the trip this Sunday and is out, per Todd Bowles. It’s a “coach’s decision.” … Not good.

No and we were up like 17-0 and still lost thanks to emo kicker (who also cost us home field and a bye in 2010 by blowing that 30 yard GW FG vs Atlanta)

This is how we should remember emo kicker. He cost us far more than he helped us. He was terrible on so many big kicks. Glad he did well in NFCCG and SB but he was shite otherwise.

I think you'll have a better day remembering him as the guy that made the kick to go to the Super Bowl and the guy that made 3 40+ yard field goals in the Super Bowl. Until this thread, I had forgotten about the missed kicks in 09 and 10.

Fair point. I just really hated him b/c he cost me SO MUCH MONEY with bad misses.

I don't mind missing the occasional 47 yarder, but you can't miss 30 yarders INDOORS in huge divisional games. Seriously, that hasn't happened all year. Has there been one single huge season-altering missed 30-yard FG this entire season for any team? Last season?

The only one I can think of was Lutz' blocked XP against Denver but that wasn't really his fault. Also I know that Gostkowski missed a huge XP in the 2016 AFCCG that cost New England overtime and led to the Broncos winning the game and the Super Bowl. But that was on a shitty, frozen natural grass field in 30 degree weather.

shite I’d take 45-17. If we can score anything above 40 while keeping them under 20 that would be solid.

Jets have nothing to play for. It would be beneficial to tank at this point.
