I’ve never gotten the obsession with a black helmet. And now after it has become official, I see why. It just doesn’t look good.

I’m all for uniform changes but the black helmet has and always will be a huge no from me. There’s already so many dark colored helmets in the league (black and navy) and silver and white. Us and Frisco are the only ones with gold and it helps us stand out. This shite looks like arena league bullshite

The Saints are one of the teams that have a "timeless" look in the NFL, so of course we're going to change that.

that uni does, just thought it would look nice with an all black uni. it should NOT replace color rush unis.

If you duplicated the helmet stripe from the regular gold helmets it would look 1000x better. It is so dumb to have a bunch of smaller logos on a helmet with a large version of the SAME logo.

I love the black helmet, but it would look 1000x better if the fleur de lis were white, not gold.

I don't necessarily hate the helmet but like others have said I'm not digging the helmet with the color rush all white unis. It would definitely look better with the all black combo or possibly the black jersey and gold pants. They just need to do a all black color rush uniform. Same as the whites just black instead.

Not a big fan of the black helmets. But as some have said, go all black unis with that lid.
