Brady's favorite word is frick. He's memed to death with the known, "let's fricking go". Brees was bleeped out many times mic'd up (game where he threw a pic for reference). I get what you're saying about slinging it around in a casual interview setting is kind of unnerving, but T-Steads pod is just that. An off the cuff uncensored podcast for dudes to just bullshite. So I don't think any different of him. I don't know what to tell you man. Get over it?

oh frick off you 2 faced baby bitch - for all the whining about how you were done with the Saints and the NFL, yet you keep watching and act as if you opinion matters.

He is the face of the franchise, not White Trash. You wouldn't hear Brees or Brady on podcast spitting f bombs!

Someone who curses doesn't make them trash, white or otherwise. Don't be a simpleton.

Brady most certainly did.

Same with Phillip Rivers

Agreed. T-Sted is basically trying to do what Edelman is doing who just copied what the Kelce’s were doing BEFORE they went corporate. They’re not trying to be professional or act like they’re legit interviewers or serious journalists. Just dudes talking ball.

I doubt you’d see Shough talking like that on Howard Stern or on ESPN. He knows it’s a casual, relaxed setting with no expectations, just former pros or current pros shooting the shite. But to act like the majority of adults, let alone pro athletes, don’t speak like this around people they’re comfortable with then you’re just lying to yourself. Out of all the guests on Edelman’s podcasts, I think Vince Wilfork was the only one that didn’t curse but admitted when he still played his trademark word around the locker room or anywhere on the facilities was motherfricker

Agreed that it doesn't, but when not used for emphasis (like "what kind of dumb@ss motherf-er gets a false start penalty on the goal line?"), it comes across as lazy using curse words for filler, much like saying um, or you know (like "dude I was f-cking fishing the other day and you know, didn't catch anything."). I say this as someone who curses regularly -it's quite cathartic and keeps me from punching people.
I don't think less of him, but think it shows some immaturity knowing when and when not to curse. Of course it's also right after the end of the season and he's been living in a locker room for the last 6 months, so some of those habits are hard to break. I remember coming home from college for Thanksgiving and cursing at the dinner table out of habit from football and the fraternity house. But part of the being the face of the franchise is learning some of this stuff. He'll figure it out. If that's his biggest issue, he's all good.

I like how instead of talking about the actual interview, it’s turned into a thread about cursing and who is soft.

That tracks for a lot of threads

Yeah, no. Rivers was/is known for constant, creative, off the wall smack talk with ZERO cursing.
