You think it’s smart to break in possibly the two most important positions on a team with a rookie LT and a rookie qb in an opener with Penning already out and Ruiz a human turnstile?

I understand the arguments from both sides; but I would like to see extensive playing time for Shough just to see what we really have.

Idk why anyone is bitching because it really doesn’t matter. The Saints are only winning maybe 4 games this year with either QB lol.

I guess Jalen Hurts sucks, He didn't start as a rookie. Oh wait, neither did Patrick Mahomes. Wow...... He sucks too and was obviously a wasted pick.
What you're seeing is how things used to be done in the NFL where rookie QB's were allowed to learn and come up to speed before taking over. It used to be the norm before the instant gratification circus started and fan bases were all about firing a HC and cutting a 1st or 2nd round pick if they didn't start day one and instantly become HoFers.
Fan bases are the absolute worst source for opinion and information related to sports.
