Definitely don’t see Ozigbo making it through the waivers. I liked his play a lot.

Every year people cry about it. Every year they come back.

Don’t you think every team has a decent young RB that they’re “sweating out” and hoping that they’ll clear waivers? Do you you not get that?

You don’t think Ozigbo pushed Dwayne Washington? And I like Dwayne.

Thomas WR1
Kamara WR2
Cook WR3
Trequan WR4
Ginn WR5

These are the guys who need to get open. Pretty safe to say the first 3 will lead the team in targets regardless of what happens. Trequan takes a step, Ginn stays healthy, we are fine. I also think we can still churn Carr and kirkwood if something better becomes available

We're literally bringing back the exact same group that had us working out a bunch of has-been's, for help.

Two of them were rookies. They get better, naturally.

Ted Ginn missed 11 games last year, too.

please stop overreacting

Yea, it looks like they chose Washington's special teams over Ozigbo's hands in the passing game.

They can both run the ball pretty good.

Boston Scott made it to the PS after we cut him.

Every team has RBs they like. They are a dime a dozen.

yep... that's why, though I think as far as what they bring to the RB position they are pretty much exactly the same, Washington had the inside track b/c of his ST play...

Supposedly Ozigbo was very impressive on STs as well.

He was a draft pick too. Not some UDFA nobody cared about enough to draft 4 months ago.

And Boston Scott never did shite in Philly. Clearly Payton wasn’t THAT stupid.

In other news, rookie pass rusher Carl Granderson was reinstated from the did not report/reserve list. He was incarcerated when the Saints began training camp but recently had his sentencing modified, and may join the Saints later this season.

Ozigbo>>>Scott

Ozigbo has great balance, runs hard, good vision, great hands.... dude could definitely be at least a #3 on another team... easily...

Per Mike Triplett, Granderson won’t count towards the 53 for the first 2 weeks of the season. They have to determine his future in those 2 weeks.
