Hendrickson was because they doubled down on Davenport and they had to prove they were smarter than everyone. Heads should have rolled
Baun was a bad pick because it was known immediately that he would be played out of position and forced to play a role he’s not comfortable with. Several posters (I am not claiming credit here, I didn’t see it right away) were calling this during the draft weekend. This was a good scouting job by the scouting department to see the talent, bad pick by Loomis knowing he doesn’t fit our scheme, terrible coaching by DA not adjusting to a player’s strength

you`re not putting the Anzalone pick on Loomis ,WTF picked a player
with injury problems.Payton and Loomis drafted to many players like that.

Loomis isn’t making the calls on who to pick. He doesn’t come up with the draft boards. This is on the coaches and scouts. Loomis just makes it happen. They traded up to get him because they had a “vision” for him. Sometimes coaches are just dumb and don’t let players just do what they do best.
