The difference between their Turbo and 5.0 is huge. Don't skimp. Get the V8. Great engine. Turbo V6, not so much.

Well you're right and you're wrong. The 2.7L twin turbo V6 is now the standard engine. It's nothing to write home about. Above the 5.0L V8 is the 3.5L twin turbo V6, and it screams.

Ford really shot themselves in the dick having two Ecoboost V6's available on the same truck.

For a low end engine on a truck, it's pretty powerful. We have a few in our office fleet and they're fun to drive, especially the regular cab.

It's also awesome in my Edge Sport, but that is a good bit lighter than an F150.

He's just jealous because he doesn't think you can get a good deal on a domestic truck. You can, you just have to negotiate and be willing to walk away. Shop multiple dealers and be willing to play one dealer against another.

Which one? Multiple grill options on the F150.

I gave you a link in the last thread. They are all over the place. Seems like if you want to drive to Houston, it's even better.

False.

Is there a reason you won't just post your purchase agreement to shut me up?

Its got almost the exact same specs (hp and torque) as the old 5.4, which for years was the F150's top engine choice.

For the base engine, its solid.

I bought one from a guy named, Vinnie for $20K

Said he found it after it fell off a truck. Didn't need it himself so he was willing to cut me a deal

Who cares what sticker is. Go to KBB.com and see what a fair deal is and see what the invoice is. They can wipe their arse with the sticker.

You have about $6000 in markup and on lariat, depending the packages, aeound $1500, $2500 in rebates. Yes they are offering 0%, sometimes in lieu of the rebates but on that type of money it may be worth it.
Whatever you do, don't be a douche and spend every day at a different dealership to save $300. The economy isn't that bad.

The 3.5 is terrible, too. I am completely aware of the two turbos.

Longevity issue aside, the 3.5 Ecoboost is a beast in the F150. And I had a 2012 F150 with the 5.0, so if anything i'm biased towards it.

We've found the salesman.

That cloth cuts both ways.
