I lost all my cards in Katrina. I had a lot of magic cards, Pokémon and some really good baseball cards.

All the Pokémon dweebs are grown, experienced and have their own money now

Same applies for baseball cards then, specially the collectible ones from the 1950's era. I remember reading somebody spent $1.5 M for a Honus Wagner baseball card, all damaged and ripped apart.
" A damaged 1909 T206 Wagner missing three sides sold for $1,528,066 in April 2022." (per Google).
Seriously?

The Pokémon craze is already slowing down because scalpers turned it into a business and kids are moving on to other things since they can't get drops.
Baseball cards have held their value for 100 years, and way more people care about Pokémon than baseball

Proof some people have more money than sense

News like this always make me want to dig up all my old trading cards from the early to mid 90's to see if they have any significant value now.
Seems like it would be very time consuming, and I have no idea where to reference the values other than Becket if that's still a thing.
Hate to just leave them collecting dust...

Pokemon turns 30 this year. I won't be here but I would bet they'll be around in 70 more years in some form. Pokemon is the biggest media franchise in history at this point.

Logan Paul is a monstrous piece of shite. I try not to hate people but I don’t get how a goofy arse fricker like that has an actual following? Like who is his target audience that genuinely enjoys spending their free time listening to that retard.

What's funny is that this card was originally graded a 9 with PSA, but Paul resubbed it after be bought it to PSA to get a 10. Total sham
Posted on 2/16/26 at 12:45 pm to bluebarracuda
I can't wait till the market turns against PSA. Im all for TAG at this point

At least they seem to state their standards and give detailed reasons for the grade.
