Perhaps he used to be Tebow's tight end in every sense.

He and Tebow roomed together at one point. That is kind of insane to think about.

Your uncle apparently had no problem with perversion. AH also suffered from brain trauma. He had extreme anger bc of brain scars combined with pent up sexual frustrations. Each is potent alone. Explosive when combined.

Why did people downvote this post? It's not an excuse, it's facts. He had brain trauma, which we have no idea what impact it had on his behavior. It had an impact, but to what degree no one knows.

And he was gay. A very good athlete who played on a national championship college football team and for one of the most successful NFL teams in current history (well history in general). I have no idea how he was raised, but if he was raised in a home where it was perceived that athletes are suppose to be "manly" and being wasn't really accepted, it would like be harder for someone to accept themselves as being gay.

He had no reason to get involved in the lifestyle he was involved in. He was from a middle class family. His dad passed away when he was in HS and I think his dad was extremely active in his life, but then throw in the fact he eventually suffered from brain trauma and he was hiding the fact he was gay, those were big contributors to how his life turned out. Does anyone else have another "theory" or this this is a bunch of bullshite? If so, please explain.

Because no one has sympathy for a rich and famous athlete that was given an education at a top tier public school when they decide to piss it all away trying to do hood rat shite.

That sucks that he both probably grew up in an environment and chose a profession in that wasn’t gay friendly but he also murdered people.

I feel no sympathy for someone that was given every out in life but let’s themselves get sucked up in bull shite. Dude couldn’t have been further from thug life in Boston but he let that world come to him.

Supposedly Hernandez had the most severe case of CTE ever observed by pathologists.

The symptoms include aggression, mood swings, memory impairment, and behavioral changes.

I think the line of work that Hernandez was in was a contributing factor to his legal problems. I think it explains why domestic violence is such a common issue in the NFL.

I seriously think OJ Simpson has CTE.

Hernandez was a nasty mogo in high school and college. He must’ve been born susceptible to CTE because that is something that advances with age

You can lack sympathy, but acknowledge cause and effect.

Definitely. That would explain why an otherwise friendly guy starts having violent outbursts and bits of extreme rage.

That change of behavior that supposedly led to the end of his marriage with Nicole. Extreme rage and jealousy ultimately lead to the death of two people.

If the public finds out that OJ had CTE (which won't occur until after he dies and only if his family chooses for him to be tested), there will be a massive PR shite storm for the NFL.

Unlike OJ, Hernandez started out as an irrational a-hole. Maybe he had a chip on his shoulder about being homosexual or bisexual. No way of knowing that. It's no doubt that his brain injuries exacerbated his problems in life though.

I found it interesting that people were distracted with this flag protest bullshite around the time the public became aware of Hernandez's CTE last September and October. The CTE revelations should have been much a bigger news story.

Sure but at this point what does it matter? He had every chance to live in our society and couldn’t, I don’t feel bad for him.

I CAN’T BELIEVE poor Aaron was TORTURED for being gay! I protest! What an outrage! How can this be in a country that doesn’t torture anybody but white mice?

Emily...Ms. Letella? Ms. Letella...Emily? It means he was very worried about his conflicted, sometimes homosexual desires. Not that he was actually “tortured”.

Oh. That’s different. Never mind.

Would this not be against attorney client confidentiality?

No one wants to make excuses for a murderer.

Aaron Hernandez was a thug POS before all this and sure CTE might have made it worse but it didnt define him.

Confidentiality does not survive the death of one of the parties.
