Were we not watching the same dad in that video? Guy was unhinged. Somebody needed to swallow their pride to deescalate and nobody did. That being said, dead guy certainly seemed to be interested in nothing but escalation, even more than the other two IMO.

What's the guy supposed to do, just take hits from a baseball bat and do nothing? Plenty people have been killed by a baseball bat. Not that hard to bash somoenes head in.

Their is something weird about all this, in all seriousness. Two armed men facing down her aggressive husband with a BAT- and the woman doesn't say one damn thing about 'stop it' or 'honey calm down!'?
This doesn't seem natural.
Not to mention the first part of her interview. She's almost smiling. Odd for a woman who watched (and FILMED) her beloved husband take a fatal load of 00 buck (speculation on my part).....

Who started the altercation? Who was the first to brandish a weapon?

Nothing is absolute...I'd say that if somebody attacks you with a bat that is a lethal weapon that could easily kill a man and I will neutralize that threat using any means necessary to save my life.
Now to hands...that is a little more tricky. If a 14 year old throws a punch at me...lethal force is probably a crime in that circumstance. However, if fricking Connor McGregor attacks me with his fists that could be lethal.
It all depends on your lawyer and what he can convince the jury of.....no you as a person have to decide if you want to take that chance.

Doesn't matter where you are, at home, in your yard, at the beach, at Sonic, if you have a gun, and somoene is repeatedly telling you they are going to kill you, and they approach you with a baseball bat, you shoot them. You don't wait for them to hit you with the bat before you shoot them.
Or course, not being an idiot and putting yourself in stupid situations like this would be the smart thing to do, but the 4 individuals in this video are idiots.
If the two fat cheeseburger ma'fuka's, as J-Roc would say, were cops, there would be nothing wrong here, unless of course they were white and the bat wielding man was black.
