I have one and I’ve had it for a while. It’s fun keeping up with people I don’t see on a regular basis, I also use it to promote my business some, and I use it to keep up with social shite and gossip. Also I sell lots of stuff on marketplace

There are several local car clubs that use Facebook for their main communications. And so they can look at pictures of cars.
Some garden clubs also communicate there, and even some small businesses use it to push their special occasion meals.
I know one bachelor who used it so the collection of women he dated would not know how many others there were. (He wouldn't have dared put his email to all contacts.)

For their business page, for different private groups that are industry and hobby related.

I have one under my middle name, minimal info about me, cartoon for an avatar, no friends, only group memberships. I use it to sell and buy stuff - mainly car parts - on FB Marketplace and for tips and recipes on smoking meat with the two different types of smokers I own.

I have not had FB since 2012. I have been unaware of a few old friends who have died because of this.
Women in particular, monkey branching being innate to them ( they will deny this with every fiber in their being of course), always have a few guys on the FB back burner should their current relationship collapse. This is the modern world and a primary reason why trust between the sexes has collapsed . Everyone is always just one DM away from betrayal.

I have a large extended family that I keep in touch with on FB. We get together a few times every year and these gatherings are mostly coordinated with FB. Its much better and more efficient than group texts and emails like we did in the past. Also, marketplace is great. I have bought and sold many things on there and it was so easy/convenient.

Serious response though, I like tangentially keeping up with people that I won't really call. Honestly I hate phone calls and the only human I will call other than business is my grandmother.
It is pretty cool seeing people I went to high school and college with build their lives and families.... makes me happy to see.
