Blows my mind that they still allow alcohol to be sold at airports and on planes.
I’ve also had multiple patients come in who took gummies and then freaked the frick out on planes.

I saw a 70 yo woman who really wasn't all that drunk get stopped scanning her boarding pass and taken off the list. Then she got mad. This was 2 days ago in nashville. She wasnt acting up or anything.

They don’t want you drunk at all.
I understand that stance too.

Airports are another dimension of the universe. Time does not matter.
I’ve been pretty hammered at airports but never busted off a flight. I just board the plane, lean against the bulkhead, and take a nap. Wake up and boom we are there. It’s like a wormhole.

Waiting for the drunken take down or person losing their shite.
I also don’t fly spirit or frontier, so that’s probably why.

No but I used to walk on pretty tipsy with “apple juice” in my yeti I traveled with.
I’m pretty damn sure everyone involved knew my apple juice was bourbon but they just nodded.

Yeah, but not for drinking. Sarcastic answer not long after 9/11 when asked if I was transporting a bomb. Got pulled off the plane about 5 minutes later and got a nice talking to.

I've had a flight attendant tell me my breath smelled of booze after a bloody mary pounding session in the United Club at IAH. Told her I was just going to crash out and would not be a problem. That's exactly what I did and it was fine, woke up at landing feeling pretty sober.

Airport beers during football season can’t be beat.

You must’ve been really drunk for your pilot to not let you on your own plane

Gate agent canceled my boarded pass asap. Surprisingly I was put up at the Westin intercontinental with meal passes and a direct flight home free of charge the next morning…sober now.
I’ve probably been damn close. Actually pretty amazed I was able to hold my composure a couple times and make it on the plane.
My wife would be so damn pissed if I called her wasted and said they wouldn’t let me on the plane after I’ve been gone on a work trip.

quote:but why? Sounds like you were put up at the Westin and have plenty of time to continue the drinking
sober now.

I got kicked off a plane in Omaha once. Was so drunk they turned it around on the runway and had the cops remove me. Somehow never got arrested. No idea how I made it home.
This made up story makes you look really cool and badass

I don't do it because I don't want to have to get up and piss 9 times during my flight.
