What always gets me is the pack mentality of that area. Someone knows who did it and has chosen to stay silent for whatever reasons.
A large part of it is because they don’t really disapprove of what happened. A white girl was murdered. So be it.

I have some die hard lsu fans that are refusing to let their daughter go to lsu because of this case. Anyone have any hard facts on act scores or qualifier showing crime impacting applications/enrollment.
This isn’t the only reason, but one ingredient to the recipe for me.

This is bullshite. You are claiming an entire area approves with the murder of white person. That's a bridge too far.

The person or persons who did this might already be dead. They're never going to figure it out.

That's the issue. If there is no evidence, there's no evidence. There may be latent evidence (like a finger print or DNA for someone not yet in the system) that can be in play...if the perp gets in trouble later. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be any avenue to efficiently use resources on this case anymore.
It's amazing, really. Fedgov is still chasing and arresting people who made the mistake of being geolocated in the vicinity of a riot on 1/6/2021. Bank records volunteered by BoA and others. Cell phone records, no problem. Dead white girl in BR? Can't find shite.

Yeah inferring that the area approved of the murder is wrong. But there are definitely large areas that indifferent.

Maybe, but it hasn't been that long.
They might also be bragging about it to anyone that listens.

I never claimed any such thing.
I said they didn’t disapprove. There’s a difference.

This needs to be brought up often and not ignored. However, it still makes my blood boil every time I think about her murder and the BRPD response to it.
I posted a long time ago that no one would be convicted.
No video evidence, no physical evidence. The gun has either been ditched in a river or sold, likely multiple times. It may very well be in a different state.
Barring someone confessing, they’ll never make an arrest, much less get a conviction.

My opinion isn't a popular one, but I am just offering something else as a possibility. Its easy to assume, oh she was in a bad area so it has to be people from the area up to no good.. And it might be the case, but I think she was killed by someone who knew her.
Either way, whatever happened, any chance the new chief of police gets more active on this case?

The world is full of stupid people.
You probably know some. You may be one.
There have been multiple posts, primarily on the outdoors board, concerning guys asking advice on good cheap pistols to buy. Because they kept theirs in their vehicle ( admitting it was unlocked), and it was stolen.
I’d guess a fair number of posters here who are bemoaning the fact no one has been arrested yet know someone who leaves guns in their cars, and has had guns stolen.
I’m sure a few have had it happen to them.
Nice try being a d**k. It didn’t work.

Interesting. I think she was killed by some gangbanger piece of shite who saw an opportunity and didn't give a frick about anything.

I have a good friend that is a retired fed. BR was part of his district. He hates BR & the stories he tells me, damn what a corrupt shite hole.
"One of the most corrupt places on earth. Goes all the way to the governor's mansion"
He indicated there wasn't pressure being put on like they used to put the pressure on. "Too much money involved"
Whatever that means, but he wouldn't get too deep into that.
I believe he could bring BR to its knees with what he knows. They'd probably kill him though.

It’s hilarious for you to say this in here but then this in another thread

Lol. No. If someone chooses to do drugs, then their actions will lead them down a bad path, potentially. If that person overdosed, then you would say he or she shouldn’t have done drugs because their actions put them in a more dangerous situation. Doesn’t mean the person deserves to overdose. Doesn’t mean the drug dealer isn’t at fault for adding fentanyl. But I believe in personal responsibility, which is far from a democrat.

Did you not read the Facebook comments, the vast majority of them don’t GAF because she’s a White girl.

It would be difficult to compile data on why people nationwide didn’t apply to a specific college. I can tell the LSU admission office works OT recruiting out of state students. Our senior in HS got hundreds of emails and texts and someone called my wife’s cell at like 8pm back in October.
