Of those 150 mass shooting events, 56% were perpetrated by whites, whereas the US population is 76.3% white. Statistically speaking, that would make white mass shooters underrepresented in the date set.
I really think this is another situation where the socioeconomic status is a much bigger factor than race, but no one likes to talk about that aspect for some reason.
The same thing can be said for one of the reverse arguments like "a disporportionate amount of blue collar crime is committed by minorities." I don't see that as being a race issue either. The crime rate for poor whites is just about the same as for poor minorities.

like i said, mother Jones deosnt consider the shooting in chicago where 15 people were shot and only 2 died as a mass shooting.
White men do not commit the most mass shootings in this Country. black men do. its not even fricking close.

Yeah, my general sense of him was that he was trying to call balls and strikes pretty fairly. He covered patriot prayer and proud boys as well, albeit, he didn't call them white supremacists. it's been a while and i don't really pay attention like i did back then.
regarding Trump, i make anti-Trump comments all the time because he was a narcissistic a-hole. still voted for the SoB and would again today.

Tamir Rice, Philando Castille, and Walter Scott are the ones that really make my blood boil. Abery may be the case as well, but that's still pending. I think that the Walter Scott cop is the only one where the shooter went to jail.
I have no idea why BLM and other activist tie themselves to Brown, Sterling, Floyd, Blake, Brooks Taylor, and Martin. Once the facts/video come out it never turns out the way BLM frames it.

The Parkland shooter from 2018 is missing in the mug shot here. Also the movie theatre shooter (was it the Batman movie playing?). I don't see the Virginia Tech shooter either. Or the most notorious, the Columbine shooters.

Your statistics may be skewed. There is a good possibility that the leprechaun was a crack head who got hold of the wrong stuff and was told to get up in a tree and play a leprechaun. If that is indeed the case, you need to adjust your numbers based on the demographics of the area in which the incident occurred.

I was listening to NPR on the way to work this AM and that shitbird Bernie Sanders was running his cockholster off. He's the chair of the budget committee now, which is a comedy or tragedy, depending on which way you look at it. He was bragging about plans to destroy the filibuster, and talked about majority rule like it was a good thing.
A. The senate is split even.
B. Fear of simple majority rule is exactly why the filibuster and the way the senate votes was set up.
C. He can talk about the middle class and working people all he wants, but his policies will help no one that's earned help.

They count and they don’t. When they want to talk about overall gun violence and the number of “mass shootings” they count. When you want to drill down into the statistics and determine why something is occurring or if “assault weapon” bans would actually stop these mass shootings, the don’t count at all.
