I think the purchase is more for WF infastructure and not so much for the grocery aspect..I could be wrong though

I don't shop at Whole Foods, but I do go there for lunch to grab two slices of pizza and have a beer at the bar. It's about $10 and the scenery is top notch.

Don't frick this up for me Amazon.

Whole Foods has some great products but the costs of the majority of them are outrageous. Trader Joe's has great products and tremendous value and ten times the customer service. Same stuff at half or less than half of what Whole Foods charges.

I've never been in one, but didn't Bossier/Shreveport get one not too long ago?

But to say "I don't shop at WF because it's too uppity" is such a bitch thing to say.

Well I could spell it out and say I don't shop there b/c I'm poor and the people there intimidate me with their expensive purses, cars, and generally arrogant disposition.

uppity says it all in one word.

Yes. The same thing you criticized applies to you too, just coming from the other perspective. I'm not searching around for people to judge while I'm shopping like apparently you do. Too much energy wasted on something useless. I will complain that Wal Mart's lines are usually pretty difficult to manage. That's an example of a legitimate complaint.

They are planning a launch of a 365 Store line that is whole foods only brand I believe that will be more affordable.

They opened one in Austin about a month ago. It's a pretty good deal.

Cramer says say "food deflation" is about to become a thing in the wake of this, and that even the Federal Reserve should take note. Why else would the other food retailers be tanking - they wont be able to compete, because Amazon comes in and dominates. Should be interesting to see the technological changes that come with this.

Will you be able to use your Amazon Prime card there and get 5% back on purchases?

Shopping at Whole Foods is just an overall better environment/experience. I'll pay more money for that.

Yup. Don't have to worry about trash causing a scene around you or some fat smelly bitch spilling her 60 oz icee all over your shopping cart.

And yes, that has happened to me in real life. Never again will I go to a grocery store for poors that are fat.

Its for their grocery infrastructure.

So both

Amazon is trying to take down the entire brick and mortar grocery industry as we know it. This will allow them to get more into the delivery of organic, high end groceries. They already deliver from Kroger to my house in 2 hours.

Anything and everything is better than the Wal-Mart experience. Trader Joe's beats Whole Foods in environment any day of the week.

I disagree, and Whole Foods is much closer to my house anyway.
