Nope. I installed several Office programs I use for work, as well as Chrome.

Haven't bought from them in a very long time. On rare occasions I'll use their website to find a third party seller and then look up that seller directly.

I never really saw the purpose of getting one.. Whether it was Alexa or other versions of it (google, etc).
There isn't a feature I need, that isn't on my phone and its just one more device by one more huge company that you have to pay for in order for them to obtain your data.
Same reason why I refuse to get an Apple watch. Although I have an iphone and ipad the more devices people have makes it easy for more information to be collected.. We are worth a lot to these companies, they should be giving us these devices..

and many of these so called deals can be beat locally if you take 10 minutes to look, you know, the 10 minutes you spent looking for shitty amazon deals

Amazon has been most useful to me for the non chinese imported junk. Last year I bought a Weber Performer kettle grill which no big box store seemed to stock, even online for some reason. Prime got it to me in two days. A few years ago, I bought a Graco pro level paint sprayer which no big box store stocked, nor could they get it to me in less than 10 days. Prime got it to me in 3 days. I buy all of my consumables for belt sanders and grinders from Amazon, because they have what I want/need and get it to me in a few days. The return policy cannot be beat by any competitors on the market. The inventory in stock cannot be matched by anyone else in the market.
I also often use the price match at stores. Academy, for example, matches Amzon prices if it is the same item and not on sale. It recently saved me almost $30 on a pair of Nikon binoculars.
Notice, none of what I just mentioned is cheap, chinese shite. If all you look for/buy is cheap, chinese shite that is all you will find. If other companies and stores want to compete, they need to step up their game and meet the standards.

Look, I know its cool to hate on Amazon and Prime day now. I am kind of falling out of love with Amazon myself. I doubt I will renew my membership next time. But there are some great deals mixed in with the crap. I have been looking at Garmin watches for a while and got a Vivoactive 4 for $180. That's a great deal that can't be had anywhere else. I got some security cameras and a power washer I have been needing as well. It's cool if it isn't for you but there are some objectively good deals in there.
