Not currently.

We've got a '21 Sierra and a '21 Audi Q5 though and with Junior on the way and a 100lb dog I'm probably going to be well over that soon when I swap the truck for a Yukon.

Who the hell has $150,000 or more to pay cash if you need 4 vehicles? I got 4. I have notes on 2.

Few people need 4 cars, especially totaling your said amount. I will here in the next 5-8 years when my kids start driving. I'm currently planning for the expense.

And you having 2 paid off with 4 on hand is commendable. Nice work!

Most people think it is though.

Sadly, you're right. Many do.

Having them paid off changes your buying behavior without question.

I remember when $7000 down and $750 a month meant you were buying a house.

$505 a month because they offered me 0% interest on the financing. Still feels bad

You should not, 0% is 0%.

2023 Ford Expedition Max, had to buy because my 2012 Acadia had died. Dead. Kaput.

I'm on the hook for a cool $1000 a month, but only because we had private interest-free financing. My wife is driving it until its wheels fall off. Then my kids will drive it.

I pay close to $800/mo on husbands Toyota. I have no idea what his loan term is, I just pay the thing.

yeah I know, it's free money. Just don't like my debt to be high. Hell, my truck payment is more than my mortgage.

Fortunately, my truck is paid off. We pay around $450/ month for my wife's SUV. I can't imagine have a note over $450 much less $700.

My 2023 truck is right at 1k a month. Definitely sucks but it's a bad arse truck that I actually have a little equity in it right now. Very small window for equity that will be gone soon but I plan on keeping it for a long time so I'm not worried about it.

One is paid for the other I have 18 months left @ 400 a month and absolutely despise paying the note. There's no way I would buy a brand new vehicle the way they are priced these days.

ETA- I know people paying double that on car payments that really can't afford it. Is it really worth your wife driving a loaded tahoe?

If near half the country has a car payment, then it is pretty normal. New car prices have approached the average annual salary of Americans, it is just a crappy situation.

I have 4 cars bc I have one in college at LSU, one a junior in HS that does multiple activities and no way me or wife can get her there and me and my wife. I owe on wife and sons vehicles. They get old car through HS and new one to start college, they graduate and it’s theirs. Nothing that fancy for them. My wife didn’t work for 10 years as to take care of kids at home until they started school. Plus that’s gas, insurance, tires, brakes, oil changes, plugs, etc on 4 cars = expensive.
