OK...you caught me in a good mood. Dated a chick in college who had BAD migraines. They put her on Topamax. Anti-seizure drug. She dropped weight and was back down to HS size. She has maintained it through her 40s.
I went on it for 12 weeks a few years back and dropped a bunch of weight. Now, for the plus and minus
The folks that take it for seizures and migraines take around 200-300 mg per day. For weight loss only, stay under 100mg. Start at 50 mg then go to 75mg then level at 100mg. Come down the same way.
PROS:
- It is prescribed as an off-label weight loss drug
- You can buy in over the counter in Mexico
- Have a "migraine"? Ask your doctor is Topamax is right for you.
- You will drop crazy amounts of weight
CONS:
- Causes alcohol, wine, beer, etc to taste like crap
- Tingly sensation in toes and fingers
- You might get stupid forgetful
Google Topomax for weight loss. Tons of stuff out there. All I can tell you is I did it and it worked. Side effects were manageable and went away when I went off of it.

I like doing the 24 day challenge. The first 10 days there's a fiber supplement and you end up shitting out like 5 pounds really quick. Then it's all other stuff and helps you tone up.

Never tried it, but I've heard that Wellbutrin can have positive weight loss side effects.
Alli used to be effective, but something shady has happened to the active ingredient. Rx-strength Xenical is still available, I think.

There are a certain amount of calories you burn each day from living and stuff. If you eat less calories than that, your body will magically lose weight.
