Lol

That would be navel

Naval is a branch of the military- not sure if anyone has a ‘naval canal’ unless they’ve been torpedoed

covid is the flu

Anyone wanting the new normal to be irrational behavior resembling Howard Hughes in the last year of his life needs to have their brain tumor removed

Do whatever you want, but it’s not that bad. I’ve been tested like 16-17 times for my job.

Anyone have any idea why some places are still doing the deep swab while others aren’t?

Mine was like an inch up my nose, no big deal, and it was a PCR test. Is the error rate reduced with deep swab?

I don’t know. I tested positive in October, so I haven’t been tested since then, per CDC standards. But I work in a nursing home, so I was being tested at least once per week, and sometimes twice per week before that. And they did switch up to the slightly more comfortable, “shallower”, swab at some point, but I don’t remember when.

People are going and getting the test when they have no symptoms because they were in proximity to someone positive. I don’t understand that.

My parents are elderly and have multiple comorbidities. If I was in contact with someone who had confirmed it I would probably get tested even if I was asymptomatic if I was not able to quarantine just to make sure I would not pass it on to them.

That being said, I would not get the colon-swab-through-the-nose test.

It’s nice not to spread it to friends and family if you have it.

My older parents were coming to visit so I decided to get a rapid test while they were driving in. I’d feel bad if I got them sick.

It really wasn’t bad at all. If you’re scared of a q tip up your nose you’re a pussy.

You tell'em bubba! Make that political stand, you rebel. So tough. People look up to you for your ability to fight the good fight against that little mean swab.

Yeah, nah, not really. You're an idiot.

I didn't know the nose swab was still a thing. People I know are now doing the cheek.

The butt cheek.

har har

But seriously. Not the nose one.

Not getting tested unless showing severe symptoms and need to be admitted to the hospital. People are getting Covid testing when they have a sinus infection. Stay strong friends.

My goodness! What a exaggeration. I had to take the test. It was a few seconds of not much. I don’t cry when I get shots either, though. Do you?

I've had it done ten times and it sucks. How much it sucks depends on who is doing it. The ones that hurt the most wiggle it around against the sides of your nasal cavities.
