In fairmess to him the bass line is really just a rythmic G. He isn't playing the B-D and B 64th note flourishes but he is still driving.
I'm sure the instruments and the mics are off. I really don't think the singer sounds just like Steve Perry.
However, the drummer is playing and playing well.

Was not me, but possibly because he misnamed the B string as an E.

It's not a Squire, It's a Sterling Stingray 4 string. No idea how he has it tuned, but the instruments aren't doing much. Drummer is pretty good.
