Most musicians are pretty retarded anyways so this makes a lot of sense if you really think about it.

The drummer is drumming while the bass player is doing nothing but plucking his loose E string.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted. The drummer is the only one playing for real. Not that it matters. Good for them having fun.

Must have downtuned that bass the way that string was flapping.

In fairmess to him the bass line is really just a rythmic G. He isn't playing the B-D and B 64th note flourishes but he is still driving.
What are you on about, he's not playing a damn thing except for the loose open E string which looks like it's probably a B it's so loose.

I'm sure the instruments and the mics are off. I really don't think the singer sounds just like Steve Perry.

However, the drummer is playing and playing well.

Was not me, but possibly because he misnamed the B string as an E.

A 5 string Squier bass top string is a B.

It's not a Squire, It's a Sterling Stingray 4 string. No idea how he has it tuned, but the instruments aren't doing much. Drummer is pretty good.

I went back and viewed it on a computer screen rather than a cell phone.

I stand corrected.
