Women. Spite is caused by emotion. Emotions are what are destroying our country. Women and gay men act like women. That is 75% of the Democratic Party. I know that’s a long answer to your question.

I don't agree. You're generalizing. Men can be just as spiteful as any woman. I've encountered just as much spitefulness from men as I have from women in my life.

I would say there are just as many men who are spiteful as women. Spiteful, by definition, is being full of/showing spite or malice. Doing small things to someone to annoy them or piss them off because you're angry at them for some reason.
Just because it's presented differently and in different scenarios doesn't mean it's any less. Not sure why that explanation is showing "defensiveness" though.
