I think he meant that he wishes that they ate snakes only, and not other critters.

Had one surveying his domain yesterday high above Bear Point.

Thats awesome. Always wondered about the eagle nest off i10, but it looks like it wasn't inhabited the last time I drove by and actually turned my head and looked (as that is a risky move in that area). Never noticed any in NorthLa, thats cool though.

The nest is still there but I haven’t seen Eagles there in a few years. I think they left that nest
I saw them nesting there earlier this year, I believe it was in the spring.

Is the big bald eagle nest still there near the 10/310 split coming off the spillway?
The eagle is building a new nest just up towards the spillway off the east side of I10.

We saw one in that nest at 10/310 a few weeks ago. Not sure if anyone saw the new nest but it is NE of that one. You can see it when heading west on I-10 after you pass the old nest look east and you will see the new one. Its closer to the interstate and looks smaller than the 10/310 nest.

I heard they have been leaving blue states due to all the liberal filth and regulations.

It is much closer and lower down in a tree. Imagine there will be a lot of rubbernecking along that stretch in the future.

I saw the biggest pair I've ever seen recently.
Was floating down the river and they were showing off flying around down low.
Felt like America.

Beautiful animals. At one time there was one hanging out near the Louis Armstrong Airport in Kenner and I'd see it often when heading between the interstate and airport on the access road.
I'd often see another one off the Bonne Carre Spillway heading east if looking toward the direction of Airline Hwy.
It had built a huge nest in the top of one of the trees about a 300 yards or so off the roadway.

Are y'all talking about the nest in that short tree north of I-10 West of I-310 headed out of NOLA?
While it is more recent that the one near the 310 curve, that nest has been there for a year or two already. Fledged a chick once before at least.
