yes, I often put a loaded firearm in my preschooler's backpack. I find it teaches responsibility more so than just giving them small chores around the house. 
Why ask them to make the bed when you can put some real responsibility on them.

Don’t know what’s more appalling…the story or the fact that BR has a school called Baton Rouge Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet School.
