Dr. Karam at LSU. I don't know if he does a lot of keynote speaking, but he did speak at an event in BR I attended. He has fun LSU athlete stories and is great with personal branding

Save the 3k for open bar. No one's gonna give a shite.

This will build rapport faster than making people sit for 30 mins to hear about some lame BR story.

It’s Feb, aren’t you guys a little late getting an intro speaker?

That seems pretty low for a “keynote speaker.” Whats the audience?
What’s the avg going rate? Honestly asking? For someone local that drives in? I’m clueless. But if you are retired, local, and drive in for a lunch to do a 30 -60 min talk and 3-4 hours total $3500 seems damn solid that’s $1000/ hr.

For 3k go find a homeless bum downtown to do it that's about the best you could hope for with that budget

Unless the event is a seance that’s not going to happen.

You could ask a politician. Would be free I imagine if they are running for office or plan to run again. Used saved funds for open bar.

That dude is so funny.
He could be an OT poster, but he doesn't speak highly of the gay community so no one is hiring him to be a Keynote speaker.
He isn't much of a trans fan either.
He dont like SWB when she was in office because the city shut down his annual Boosie fest during Covid.
He wasn't bout getting the Covid vaccination.
He complains because McDonalds only gives you 2 jellies per biscuit.
I remember when he took his daughter to see the color purple and left in the middle of it because it had gay shite in it.

seems like google would be better than this place

I'd say Kip Holden, I saw him at a LSU graduation once and he made a rather boring event not so boring. But he is out of commission.
