Mini-Schnauzers are the best for me after owning several different breeds. The schnauzers don’t shed, they are great with kids, and very adaptable to what ever you have going on. Mine go on long walks, love car & atv rides. They are content laying around the living room if you are ill or just watching ball games. They don’t eat much and mine have never had health issues.

Australian Shepherd. Fun, smart, and happy. Best breed I've ever owned. Unbelievable vocabulary. Understands everything we tell him. Best part is if you ask him "would rather be a dead dog or an Alabama fan", he rolls over and plays dead. Awesome!

I've always had strays or shelter dogs. Against my better judgement, my wife talked me into paying for a golden doodle. She was supposed to be 30 pounds but wound up being 100 pounds and hands down the best pet I've ever had.

Villas are very specific dogs. You must allow them to release all their energy for them to be healthy and happy. Very high energy dogs. Never owned one but I've heard once they bond with you they want to around you 24/7.

I'm in the midst of raising a 1 1/2 year old vizsla. Love the dude to death but they are EXTREMELY high maintenance. I spend ~2 hours outside with him everyday since I don't have a back yard.

When I got him, I thought, "I'm a pretty active guy, shouldn't be a problem". It's been a lifestyle change for sure.

He is attached at the hip, though. Sweetest dude on the planet, loves other dogs, loves people, huge food whore, and 90% of the time just wants to be outside.

Boxer/Dane mix. He runs and jumps around like a small pony.

The one I have now, found him as a puppy wondering the Brookshires grocery parking lot in Monroe, LA. Been the happiest dog I've ever seen, always even tempered, great with other animals. English Shepherd.

We have Giant Schnauzers and I can say that hands down Eli is the best in a long line of great dogs of that breed we have had.

He has no faults.
